Giving back to the community is a part of our DNA.

At eVero, we don’t just serve the I/DD community, we are part of it.  Through the eVero Outreach program, we’re empowering individuals with I/DD to reach their full potential.

Each year our team partners with vendors and local agencies to conduct meaningful interactive workshops and informational sessions, organize fun community get-togethers, and participate in fairs, charity walks, and food and toy drives all for the betterment of our community members.

We also encourage our team to volunteer their time to positively impact their communities by lending their support to programs that improve the quality of life within our community. Our Volunteer Time Off (VTO) policy allows employees to take paid leave for hours spent in service to an approved charitable or community organization.

Empowering the individual.

Throughout the year, individuals with disabilities and their families are invited to seminars and events to stay informed on technology, industry trends that may impact them and more importantly, practical skills are taught to help individuals succeed as they journey into the workforce.

  • Employment Skills – individuals learn practical skills on how to reach their full potential in areas that eVero knows best – technology and information.
  • Job Search Strategies – Haven’t heard back from job posts? Learn tips to find gainful employment. Learn how to best look for roles and apply for positions.
  • Interview Skills – Experienced interview jitters?  Try in-person mock interviews with eVero team members in an office setting to simulate actual interview meetings.
  • Excelling in the Workplace -Looking for career growth? Get advice on how to be successful, and how to handle certain common situations, once you get the job.

Engaging the community.

The eVero team is passionate about giving back to the I/DD community.

As a part of eVero Outreach. our colleagues support local community initiatives, such as food, clothing, and toy drives throughout the year. We also curate special events such as sensory-friendly get-togethers like movie screenings.

During the holiday season, eVero Outreach is a proud sponsor of a special holiday program with Alternatives for Children. Our annual Holiday Mission is dedicated to spreading joy with gifts for Long Island families in need. All our colleagues participate in this initiative, working hard to make the holiday season merry and bright for underprivileged children.
