JOB SUMMARY
eVero Corporation has been helping health and human services organizations of all sizes solve complex technology challenges for over 20 years. Our proprietary software platform optimizes workflows while increasing transparency and productivity, and works to create a connected ecosystem across the entire I/DD care continuum. We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy individual to fill the Level III User Interface (UI) Designer position in our organization.
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the UI Designer is responsible for great user experiences by applying user-centered design principles to improve the workflow, expand functionality, and enhance the visual appeal of the software. The UI Designer should have an eye for clean, efficient design and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction wireframes, storyboards, and process flows. This collaborative position will work with Product Management and Development to define and implement innovative solutions within our product.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Execute visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
- Present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
- Solve problems creatively and effectively
- Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
OTHER SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, collaboratively, or leading a team while remaining agile and flexible in a rapidly changing environment and managing multiple competing priorities

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related degree
- Minimum 4-7 years working in UI
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
The salary range for this position is $110,000 – $140,000 per year.
