eVero’s 25th Year Anniversary
eVero Corporation was founded in the year 2000 by Christos and Constantine Morris. They revolutionized how care is delivered and managed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The Morris Brothers were driven by a desire to make storing and accessing files easier. Instead of relying on large stacks of paper, they envisioned a cloud-based system that would simplify document management. From that vision, they focused on building secure, cloud-based software solutions that streamline workflows for service providers, caregivers, and the individuals receiving support.

The Day of the Party
During the day of the party, I visited Dave & Buster’s to celebrate with my coworkers. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, share stories, and reflect on the incredible accomplishments that eVero Corporation has achieved over the past 25 years. We began the celebration by enjoying lunch together while taking in the moment and appreciating how far the company has come. Afterward, we jumped into a fun and competitive scavenger hunt, racing to find clues and count specific items as quickly as possible before time ran out. Once the scavenger hunt wrapped up, everyone gathered to watch a special slideshow video highlighting eVero’s 25 years of success. The presentation featured photos of coworkers, friends, and family from various company events, bringing back many fond memories. Several team members also shared their personal stories and experiences from over the years, which made the celebration even more meaningful. We ended the day by taking a group photo to capture the spirit of the occasion, followed by cake and arcade games that kept the fun going well into the evening. The entire day was filled with laughter, teamwork, and appreciation

My Experience Working at eVero
I joined eVero in April 2021, and I can’t believe how much I’ve learned since then. When I first started, I focused on getting to know my coworkers’ names and understanding the flow of daily office tasks. At first, some responsibilities were new to me, and I wasn’t always sure what to do — but over time, I gained confidence and learned how to manage different assignments more efficiently. One of the first skills I developed was double-checking details before finalizing things like lunch orders or supply lists. I also learned how to help set up the office for events, making sure everything was organized and ready to go. As I got more comfortable in my role, I became more involved in team activities. I was proud to be the Kickball Champion, helping my team, The Rockets, do well as a pitcher! Working together with my teammates taught me the importance of teamwork and communication, which I’ve carried into all my projects.

I’ve had a lot of fun participating in creative office projects such as the Peeps Eggstravaganza and other group events that keep things lively and engaging. I also help out around the office whenever I can — organizing spaces, decorating for the holidays, and preparing boxes for our food and toy drives. When large packages arrive, I use the cart to safely move heavy items and keep everything in order. Through my time at eVero, I’ve learned how to schedule tasks and manage my time so I can complete my work efficiently. Understanding security procedures was a challenge at first, but with practice, it became second nature.

I’ve also taken on responsibilities like placing coffee orders with CDC Coffee, learning how to track inventory lists, and even creating eVero Word Search ideas for fun vocabulary challenges. In recent years, I’ve had the chance to participate in Hire Me events, which have helped me build confidence and learn how to speak up for myself.
