About the Role
eVero, a leading technology solution provider for health and human services organizations, is on the hunt for a Data Analyst who interprets data and turns it into information to enable better business decision making. This person will gather information from various sources, interpret patterns and trends, and prepare a comprehensive analysis to be shared with relevant internal business units.
We are looking for a motivated, tech-savvy individual who has a passion for analyzing data. This individual will be expected to present themes to organization leaders to use for improving customer processes, and/or enhancing the sales and marketing process.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze complex data sets and focus on finding a story
- Use of data mining techniques to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
- Utilization of tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, like diagrams and graphs
- Perform statistical analysis of data sets
- Create presentations and reports that provide actionable insights and present them to management or clients
- Create engaging, easy surveys to help further understanding from our client base
- Identify and create additional questions for investigation based on analyzing data sets
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
- Offer creative suggestions and ideas to display key information back to our client end users
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
- Experience in data models and reporting packages such as PowerBI, SSAP, Tableau or similar products
- Experience with ETL using SSIS or other similar products
- A solid understanding of data sources, including SQL, and ability to create complex queries
- High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to make accurate conclusions from examining complex data sets
- A clear understanding of addressing and metadata standards
- Ability to write comprehensive reports
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- A degree in the following subjects is beneficial: Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics
- Minimum of two years’ experience working as a data analyst or in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records is a plus
