America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion
October 2021 marks the 76th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Held every October, NDEAM brings awareness about disability employment issues.
This year’s theme — ‘America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion‘ — reflects the importance of ensuring that people with disabilities have full access to employment during our nation’s recovery from COVID-19. After all, it’s proven that America’s workforce and economy are strengthened when everyone has an opportunity to contribute. And we passionately agree that hiring disabled and neurodiverse employees is good for business.
Throughout the month of October, eVero will be sharing articles and resources, highlighting success stories, and celebrating businesses who understand the important of disability inclusion. We also plan to share some of our own experience with hiring a brilliant and diverse workforce.
